Everyone hates to ask for money but for Seedlings to be able to continue it's work in Gambia, we have to constantly seek ways of raising funds. We even have to ask you, even though you have paid for your trip! The money we collect through sponsorship each year goes, in the main, to fund our school at Manjai. To be able to take supplies of food, oil, candles, soap, tools etc into the villages we have to ask you to provide the sponsorship; the minimum of £100 which we have included into your holiday cost. This means we have £1600 (16 people) to meet the needs of hundreds of villagers and bring them joy and relief. PLEASE, let us have your contribution in good time and no later than 2 weeks before we travel so that we know what we have available to spend. In the past some have raised a lot more than £100 by seeking sponsorship etc from family, friends and neighbours. Can we suggest you do the same and while it is not essential, you might perhaps consider opening a donations page on the Just Giving website? Please, do your best - we can't help without your help.
If you are a tax payer we will ask you to complete a Gift Aid form so that the Inland Revenue can give us another 25p for every £1 you donate. This means your minimum of £100 will increase to £125.
